About versioning, they call it "design for evoluton" - it may be a little bit late ... but you can take a look at ftp://ftp.java.sun.com/docs/j2se1.3/versioning.pdf to see if it still helps.
Design for rapid customization is a big topic, if any one has experience please share. I am interested in it too. david -----Original Message----- From: A mailing list about Java Server Pages specification and reference [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of kim(usm) Sent: Tuesday, November 27, 2001 12:18 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: WebApp Rapid Customization Hi. We've been developing an e-business web application using JSP for quite sometime. And have deployed the webapp for different customers with some level of customization. Now we are facing the problem of managing the different sets of webapps: updating & bugfix problems in different versions. I wonder if anyone out there can give some pointers on the best way of maintaining a good webapp structure for safe & rapid customization???? Please help. kim. =========================================================================== To unsubscribe: mailto [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body: "signoff JSP-INTEREST".
