Hi!!!!
I have a problem with JAVA code which needs to be urgently solved.
We wish to open a Word document on the client PC through the
browser(specifically Netscape Communicator) through <APPLET> tag. I am not
even able to achieve that in IE.
Attaching a policy file helps only in appletviewer command. We are able
to do it in appletviewer. We tried signing the applet. but, inspite of
created a signed jar and calling it in
<APPLET CODE = "..." WIDTH = .. HEIGHT = ... ARCHIVE =
"name_of_signed_jar_file.jar">, we are not able to see results in the
browser. The applet does nothing, not even throw an exception.
Do pass on this mail to your friends and let me know if something comes
up soon.
    Thanks a lot,
