I just went thru the process and got the TomCat Srever up.

First lets try to start the server.

Assuming that your tomcat is installed in c:\tomcat, from the dos prompt,
say set CATALINA_HOME="c:\tomcat". Also check that you have the JAVA_HOME
set properly to the folder where jdk is installed.

Then from the bin folder of tomcat, say startup. It should work.

Ofcourse, I am mentioning about the Windows Env. I know little on Unix env.

Shout if you still have any problems. Then we shall oproceed to deploy the
app.
