I am calling the following : window.open('RpMainReportSrv?pathinfo=/docroot/RpFormatPage.jsp&hdFlgAction= 4&ReportId='+ 'AU02'+'&auditid='+theForm.hdAuditId.value+'&LeadAuditor_Name='+theForm.hdLe adAuditor.value+ '&LA_Position='+document.frmProcessAuditInfo.txtLAPosition.value); The problem is that my hdLeadAuditor.value has a space. It is a name field. Now, I want to pass this to my servlet. It works fine in IE 5.0, as it converts the space to a '+'. But, does not work in N etscape 4.7, as it does not convert the blank to a space and gives a Bad Request. I tried conerting the blank spaces to '+' manually in the JSP, before calling the Servlet, but it is again converted to a space automatically. Can anyone help?
