Just create an Update query as a text string and execute

need to store it as a stored procedure, although that

can move data from one table to another using 1
(one) query.
If you don't know how this works, check the documentation of
SQLServer or
fire up Access and try it there.
BTW the problem might also
be related to your ODBC driver. Did you try a
JDBC driver like the
one from NetDirect (http://www.j-netdirect.com)?
