WML and JSP

Does anyone have any expierience in this combination?   I am using JRun server to build a simple page where I can input a text from a user, which is then used to query a mySQL database and return a table of results.   The only thing I do not know how to do (which is key) is how to retrieve that value the user inputted on a later page..   If anyone knows any good web guides on this matter, or examples, I would be most appreciative.   Regards,   Pete Dolukhanov
