Comments:
I am Peter Dolukhanov, [EMAIL PROTECTED], and the proponet of this
proposal. My aim is to create a JSP (Java Server Pages) newsgroup for the
discussion of the Java(TM) server-side scripting technology and its related
components.

For your newsgroups file:
alt.comp.lang.jsp Java Server Pages and Servlets Technology.

Charter:
This newsgroup is for the discussion of Java Server Pages, Servlets,
Enterprise Java Beans, The Struts Framework, Tag Libraries and all other
technologies associated with the development of server-side technologies
implemented using JSP Technology. Spam or advertising is discouraged. Binary
posts are discouraged.

Justification of Readership:
Since the deploymeny of J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) and the creation of
JSP (Java Server Pages) Technology, the support for the server-side
scripting technology, which employs the use of Java(TM) has been widespread.
Website with millions of daily hits, including AltaVista.com and ESPN.com
are using JSP technology to create truly dynamic pages. JSP is proving to be
a great alternative to PHP, ASP and other server-side technologies. The
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list run by Sun Microsystems Inc, receives
numerous daily posts, and is in need of suitable newsgroup, where this
technology can be discussed freely. Announcements of updated in the
technology as well as support for newer users is encouraged.
