You talk as if Vignette was something magical to be feared. Far from it. Vignette is a suite of highly expensive, enterprise-level, content management tools. It doesn't really do anything more than a competent JSP developer or two could set up in a few weeks. It may be a nightmare, not for JSP developers that it may put out of business, but for the poor saps that have to deal with it because the decision makers were duped by the "enterprise software" genie.
