Several ways to do it without much of a graphic or applet:

One is to show <hr width= ...> where the width is a portion of your max, of
course.

Another more flexible way is to use a single pixel gif in a <td> of computed
width. These gifs - pick your colors - are available from a number of gif
sites.

The arithmetic is straight-forward in both these cases.

Subject: Bar graph in JSP

Hello everyone,Please help

I have a JSP page, on which I have to show a bargraph to show some status. I
have some parameters like current time, maximum time. That is to be
graphically displayed.

For that can I think something like this,
1. Create the gif file on the fly using a gif generator in the server, and
show it on the page.
2. Using an applet, to which i send in the parameter and show

Which is the suitable method. Can anyone help. If option 1 is possible, can
anyone, tell where to get the code from ?

Please reply
Regards
Joshy
