Hello Guys.

I recently installed Tomcat 4.0 on Windows 98.
I have placed all my Beans in a package called mybeans in the
web-inf\classes directory.
I assumed that tomcat includes all the packages in the classes directory
in the classpath at startup. But this is not the case. I had to
explicitly specify the classpath by editing the Catalina.bat file.

Why it is so?

Please Help
