Actually I tried, but it was unsucessfull. The problem was because we where using taglibs and the jsp precompiler did not handled taglibs. Or anyway i couldn't make it to handle taglibs. So i didn't went on with it.
I tried it with weblogic and used a ant task written by i do not remember who or where i found it but it was called 'WLJspc510'. If i remember well it is from apache. WLJspc510 is written for weblogics precompiler, but maybe you can use it to write an ant task for your servlet server with minor source code modifications. That's all i can say, Best luck, xavier, Original Message ----------------------- Anyone tried compiling JSPs with Ant? We think it would be very useful as it would catch out-of-date JSPs in the build process rather that having to manually test them. Could anyone provide me with a link or task to get me started?
