That's an incredible amount of memory to be using up!! Are you sure it's not buggy application-level code or perhaps a poorly implemented third-party library? (Didn't the ODBC-JDBC bridge used to have a memory leak?)
What kind of data are you storing in the session/request? How much traffic are you getting?
