Hi there, I am running IBM Websphere Eneterprise Edition on Redhat linux 7.1 with DB2 as database.
there are around 25-30 users accessing the system simultaneoulsy. When i see the processes running in linux i see something like this root 1113 1109 0 Feb15 ? 00:00:00 /opt/IBMJava2-122/jre/bin/exe/java root 1117 1113 0 Feb15 ? 00:00:00 /opt/IBMJava2-122/jre/bin/exe/java root 1118 1117 0 Feb15 ? 00:00:00 /opt/IBMJava2-122/jre/bin/exe/java root 1119 1117 0 Feb15 ? 00:00:00 /opt/IBMJava2-122/jre/bin/exe/java root 1120 1117 0 Feb15 ? 00:00:00 /opt/IBMJava2-122/jre/bin/exe/java and there are more than 100 process running of this kind. I want to know it this ok. does webspshere calls jre for every request. or what is the link i am missing.
