Bean bean = (Bean)pageContext.findAttribute("myBean");
finds the attribute in the closest scope, or to get the one specifically in
the session scope

(Bean)pageContext.getAttribute("myBean",PageContext.SESSION_SCOPE);
or
Bean bean =
(Bean)((HttpServletRequest)pageContext.getRequest()).getSession().getAttribu
te("myBean");
