The package you're looking for is servlet.jar. It is not in the jdk1.3
(however, the jdbc classes are in the jdk1.3). Find the servlet.jar and
add to the class path. It will probably be with the J2EE web container.
Hope this helps

Subject: Offtopic:jdk(J2EE Edition)

Hi

I did not used the J2EE Edition for a long time, now Im again making
JSP.
I installed the jdk under c:\jdk1.3 on W2k
I set path and CLASSPATH as follows:
set path=c:\jdk1.3\bin;%path%
set CLASSPATH=.;c:\jdk1.3\...(JDBC Driver)\%CLASSPATH%

But I cant compile a Servlet, cause the jdk1.3 seems to be not aware of
the
packages.
But I can compile for example a simple JDBC Programm.
Whats wrong?
Thanx in advance!

Othmar
