Macromedia also announced today a preview release of ColdFusion MX, the next version of ColdFusion Application Server which runs on top of J2EE servers (they will support JRun, WebLogic, WebSphere, and Sun ONE). Besides running CFML you can also run JSP and Servlets. It also has a lot of very easy interface for consuming and deploying web services.
