did u link apache and tomcat..If so try with the examples directly with
tomcat ie in port 8080
http://localhost:8080 . Click the examples ..and execute the jsp examples .
If that works then

check  in the httpd.conf file whether u've given the alias name in the
<IfModule mod_alias.c>
