Prabhat,
Three books have helped me with design patterns while working with J2EE.
First off, everyone interested in design patterns should probably read,
Design Patterns, by the GoF (gang of four: Erich Gamma, Richard Helm, Ralph
Johnson, John Vlissides). This is the classic design patterns book, and while
not a specific Java book it still helps.
Following on Design Patterns, another good book is Java Design Patterns, by
James Cooper. This one takes the 23 patterns in Design Patterns and
demonstrates them in Java, with examples.
Then of course you could always get Sun's Core J2EE Patterns, and hear what
Sun has to say on the subject. I have to admit that this is my least favorite
of the three, because while it is still a good book, its a little harder to
follow then the rest.
Hope this helps,
