You can implement something similar to what Yahoo and other sites
use.  Allow the user to either a) continually enter their password
information
or b) allow them to login once and have an appropriate box checked that
says to store the login and password on their machine (in a cookie).

If you are going to choose option b you will want to look at some form
of encryption on the values in the cookie.
