Abhijeet,
I'd suggest stepping through your code with a debugger. Since the JSP and
Servlets are run on the server, the browser unless you have code that does
different things based on the client browser.

Hi All,
I have a servlet/jsp application running under IE 5.5 and 6, using Tomcat
5.0. When I use Netscape 7 and heigher ( I havant checked for older
versions.) for running my application, and try to access the attributes set
within the session, I only get null and nothing else.
The complete scenario is like this.
I have a login page, from which I get Username and Password. When user hits
login button, I forward that request to Login Action class through Action
Servlet, which after authenticating the user, sets the session variables
like arraylists and other stuff. Along with the login credentials, I also
send the handleId from login form, based on which, I determine where to
forward the request. After authentication, request is forwarded to home.jsp,
in which, I render the page based on the data obtained from session. (like
displaying the list of queries created in my app.) In between action class
and jsp, I have Action Filter also which filters all request a to set the
content type, char encoding and the pragma, cache control and expires headers.
(I also tried disabling this.)
This works fine in IE 5.5 and 6, but in Netscape, while rendering the
home.jsp, it does not find any session variable and I only get null.
Cokies are enbled in my browser. I am also encoding the URL. Bit still,
problem persist.
I will be very thankfull if anybody helps me out.
 Thanks and Regard,
Abhijeet.
