It just clutters up the wiki (over 500 pages), and might newcomers
give the
wrong idea that bugs are not being resolved.
If you agree, I can start thinking of a way to do this a bit
effectively, or
if any of you already has some ideas .......?
I would hesitate to remove them, as many of the pages might still
contain valid information to people who're running older versions
(or, have configuration issues). I just recently met someone who
was still running 1.8 (I doubt anyone on this list even *remembers*
such old versions) and was totally happy with it...
However, it might be a good idea to simply go through them and mark
their status properly, as either WONTFIX or FIXED.

Hopefully this, in conjunction with a proper link to the current JIRA
process, will satisfy everyone. Old bug reports have value, not just
historical.
