Hey!  Nice work!

Two things that pop to my head: as you mention in the .doc - it might be a 
great idea to provide it as a layer to the existing providers (similar to what 
CachingProvider is now), since it won't require that much maintenance.

The second thing is that I don't think you're currently encrypting the page 
properties.  That might be useful, too.
