There is a generic JDBCProvider in priha, supported out of the box... It only has scripts for HSQLDB right now, though. And of course Jackrabbit supports any JDBC.

I was originally thinking of writing a BerkeleyDB JE backend for Priha but a JavaDB one might be even better, esp. if there'd be no need for Berkeley.
