Ack. Should have checked before hitting Send. I've actually got a functional JSPWiki plugin based on Twitter4J, and I stopped working on it as I hadn't resolved the AAA issues. Sorry for the (my) confusion... [am trying to debug something and my head wasn't fully out of that and into writing email.]
If you make it a PageFilter (and hook to postSave()) you can put the auth info in filters.xml in which case it's not visible to anyone you don't want it to.
Technically, you wouldn't even need Twitter4J, since the posting methods are trivial. You can post to Twitter even with curl, if you want to :-)
