Joerg -- the changes to JAAS are primarily to how it is configured.
Functionally, it works pretty much the same as it did before. See the
UPGRADING document (in the distribution) for more details. If you have
any questions after that, let me know.

The first beta for JSPWiki 2.8 is now available at http://
www.jspwiki.org/wiki/JSPWikiDownload. We know there are still some
minor issues in it (mostly relating to documentation and page
renaming),
but we feel that it is now ready for large-scale testing.
The goal of this release was to be an Apache-licensed version of
JSPWiki
2.6, but we did manage to sneak in some other goodies as well.

jspwiki.org and the sandbox.jspwiki.org have also been updated to 2.8
beta, so you can poke around already!
