That's essentially correct, so I can't tell what's wrong.  Some things 
to check:

* If you're running Windows, use a semicolon instead of colon.

* Replace the "." with the location of JSynthLib.class (NOT the .java 
file, the .class file).  I believe the makefile dumps the class files 
next to the corresponding java files, but Ant puts everything under the 
"build" dir, and Eclipse puts everything under "bin".

To build a jar, the root of the jar file needs to contain the root of 
the classpath (i.e. com, org, synthdrivers, and JSynthLib.class).  All 
*.class, *.gif, *.syx, and *.dat files need to be included.  Other 
things can be included (like the source); they'll just be ignored.

Sorry I can't be more specific; I haven't done jars in a while, and 
usually need to iterate a few times before I get it right.
