The GeometryFactory class looks pretty straightforward to me, and I've been
using a singleton instance in a heavily multi-threaded environment for some
time now without issues. But I ran across some comment elsewhere claiming it
wasn't thread safe.
Does anyone want to venture a definitive answer on this?
