Vanish, Since you were successful running "maven dist", then you should go to the target directory and look for the "distributions" subdirectory. That directory should contain the generated zip file of the distribution.
Unzip the distribution zip file to a location on your hard drive. In the root of this new folder will be a README.html...Follow the tutorial linked from the readme and you should be in business. Note: Once we get the approval from Apache to cut our release you will not need to build your own distributions..... I've cc'd this to the list, please make sure to send you questions to the list because odds are others will have the same questions... Thanks!! -Sal -----Original Message----- From: Talwar, Vanish Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2005 7:35 PM To: Campana Jr., Salvatore J Subject: RE: HP's implementation of WSDM-MUWS Hi Sal, I have started to play with the WSDM implementation again, after a gap of a month and a half. I have checked out the new source code, and followed the instructions in BUILD.txt. I ran maven jar and maven dist. But I did not find any instructions on what specifically has to be done next. I would like to deploy the sample examples into Tomcat container, and understand all the features that WSDM has. Is there some other place that I need to look for instructions for these? Or is there something obvious that I am missing ( I am new to Web Services, so please bear with me if there is something obvious).
