Francesco - With Tomcat 5.5.7 I always get
DB connection was not aquired. (Cannot create JDBC driver of class '' for connect URL 'null') from looking at the mailing list it seems this a common problem. With the same system basic setup and using Tomcat 5.0.28 everything seems to work.
