When I use Judy Trees, it is for their space efficiency. Too bad Chuck Blake didn't post some more details of the benchmark that he ran. This paper [1] some some thorough benchmarks which show Judy Trees performing very well compared to a hash table and a b-tree. I would be interested in some more benchmarks. What is the use case that you are considering using Judy Trees for?
