Hello there, the original title is "The Sea Wolf". Wolf Larsen is definitely a Nietzschean figure, an Uebermensch (I refrain from using the English word: Is it a bird, is ist a plane... ;-) or would-be Uebermensch anyway. Probably a lot of Darwin in it as well. Don't think neither Anarch nor Unique do apply here, but that's just IMHO. Can't remember Juenger writing about the "Sea Wolf" anywhere, but dimly recall some mention of Jack London (one of his South Sea short stories I think) (may be wrong though).
