I don't know how many of you know about the Web Tech Conference that AMIT is putting on here, so I thought I'd post this. I also wasn't sure if we as a group wanted to get a booth to raise awareness of us. It is only about $200 for a booth, but we would of course need people to man it during that time.

Subject: [amit-all] Vendors: AMIT's Web Technologies for Business Conference & Exhibition

I encourage all of the companies receiving this email who are considering purchasing a booth at WebTech06 to do so immediately.

The longer you wait to register, the less assured you will be of having a space available at this event. Additionally, if there are any unsold booths remaining by April 1st, we will open up registration to particpation by companies from across the state including Phoenix. Our booth purchase price of $195 (or $245 for Non-AMIT Members) is VERY inexpensive and will likely go fast to the Phoenix IT companies who are accustomed to paying $500 to $1000 for a similar event. As our mission is to promote the economic development of our local companies, I want to make sure that we fill up the event with Tucson businesses, so be sure to register early.

We have conducted extensive promotion for this event, and based upon the luncheon reservations alone, we are looking to have a strong turn out. We have already sent direct mail pieces out to 500 companies, and will be sending additional pieces to up to 5000 more companies inviting them to come meet YOUR COMPANY at this free exhibition. We have already completed 2 TV interviews, and will be doing 2 more on radio. We will have regular radio ads as well as a significant number of stories in the local print media. Additionally, we have run large ads in both Inside Tucson Business and the Arizona Daily Star.
