The role: Senior Mobile Software Engineer - COD. MSSCG1004
INdT Instituto Nokia de Tecnologia is focused on deploying innovative
technological solutions on the mobile communications area. INdT is
staffed with highly qualified professionals, with solid experience,
including PhDs, Masters and graduated personnel in areas related to
technology and mobility.
Requirements
* Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or
related specialty
* 4 - 8 years programming experience, including experience with
various embedded related technologies
* Passion for coding
* Understanding of MIDP and CLDC, and experience developing
applications on the J2ME platform
* Knowledge of and experience with WAP and WML, including clean
layout and UI design
* Good understanding of XML, XML Schema and XSLT
* Understanding of internationalization and localization needs
* Experience in Debugging, Bug Fixing, and Trouble Shooting
production issues
* Fluency in English
Pluses
* Understanding of wireless technologies such as BREW, WAP, WML,
SMS, MMS
* Experience with Java, servlets, AJAX and related J2EE technologies
* Symbian and Flash Lite experience
* C/C++ programming experience.
* Experience in relational database design and SQL
* Network Communications and Telephony protocols

* Passion for coding
* Deep Java SE and Java EE programming experience.
* Extensive experience designing and programming large scale,
distributed systems, developing large software systems.
* Web development, Struts, GWT, XML, Ajax
* Experience in relational database design and SQL
* Understanding of internationalization and localization needs
* Demonstrated development experience in at least 5 application
development projects
* Experience in Debugging, Bug Fixing, and Trouble Shooting
production issues
* Fluency in English
Pluses
* C/C++ programming experience.
* Experience with Java ME
* Network Communications and Telephony protocols
