Hi, the weather is great, let's use the opportunity and juggle outside as usual around 5pm today on the cut. I'll bring the volleyclub net.
On another note: For our juggling festival, we are renting the community forge space in Wilkinsburg. They are really community oriented and gave us a good price. We offered to try to help with painting, cleaning or other tasks in the building before the festival. They now have a volunteering event on Sunday, between 10am and 5pm. You can pop in and out at any time, but Wondo (cc) is organizing a group of flow and juggling people to go there Sunday morning, roughly 10 to 2. Please reach out to Wondo if you are interested to help and volunteer a couple of hours -- your help is greatly appreciated. Details copied below. Thanks, Christian ====== Thank you so much for expressing interests in volunteering with us at Community Forge. Another Volunteer Day is scheduled for next weekend! We appreciate ALL of your efforts in this project. Please let me know if you plan on getting involved this upcoming weekend (estimated planned time of volunteering), or if your organization plans to send any volunteers. We sincerely appreciate your support and hands-on involvement in this project and look forward to possibly seeing you this weekend. Please see information below for details about how to get involved this day: Volunteer Day Where: Community Forge, 1256 Franklin Ave, Pittsburgh PA, 15221 Date: Sunday, October 22nd 2017 Hours of Operation: 10am – 5pm (Come anytime between these hours) Come help with renovations toward developing Wilkinsburg’s new community center this Sunday, October 22nd. Volunteers do not have to stay during the entire time listed and can arrive any time between the listed hours. However, in order to divvy out task-training and actual work effectively, we please ask for at least 1-2hrs of availability between the listed hours of operation. Primary tasks: Main tasks involve paint touch-ups on the entryway, placing trim edging in floored and painted rooms, cleaning/clearing the atrium, prepping the atrium for flooring (pulling up carpet), flooring parts of the atrium. No prior experience with any of these tasks needed (we are all learners in this environment). We will provide brief training for the projects throughout the day. Secondary tasks: Volunteers are also welcomed to join-in on some of the other renovation tasks taking place at the center during Volunteer Day. These involve simple hands-on work with Community Forge members (e.g., gardening, paint scraping, removing wall items). Looking forward to seeing you all there:) Regards, Travis Alvarez (Rez) -- Mailing list of the CMU juggling club: Masters of Flying Objects Website: http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/juggle/ Mailing list: Juggling-members@lists.andrew.cmu.edu Unsubscribe/Manage subscription: https://lists.andrew.cmu.edu/mailman/listinfo/juggling-members
