Thank you for completing the 2024-2026 University Center Space Allocations Board Application Process. Your patience was appreciated as we ensured that all applications were thoughtfully reviewed and a final in-person inspection/audit of each space was conducted. Many aspects of student organizations were taken into consideration including the overall space needs of student organizations, individual space needs, activity and engagement levels of your organization on campus, organization sizes, the impact of your organization on campus, and adherence to the current UCAB space contracts (if your organization had space in the previous UCAB cycle). It is important to know that we had about 190 applicants and are very limited on spaces on campus, in general. Many decisions sat heavily on the fact that there is physically no more space to give to those who requested more space and/or those who applied for the first time. Please know that the feedback you provided in your applications will be taken into consideration and is highly valued to better this aspect of the student organization experience in the coming years. With all of these aspects considered and your organization's request to "keep all spaces the same," your organization’s space was identified as one that *will not be updated or changed *in any capacity and will remain the same for the 2024-2026 space allocation cycle. If you so choose, you may appeal this space decision for your organization by responding to this email by Saturday, February 24 at 11:59 p.m. A meeting will be coordinated with a member of the UCAB to discuss your appeal as soon as possible and no later than Tuesday, February 27, 2025. Please note this time is an extension from what was previously communicated. If you have any questions or concerns, please respond directly to this email with your name and your role within your organization.
