Seems time to have a group planning meeting! I met with the Kingsley Association today. They have a building in East Liberty at Frankstown and Liberty Blvd that has a gym, classrooms, and a concrete lot right outside the gym (for unicycles and such).
They seem really receptive to having us. They think maybe we can work out a "barter" where they give us a discount (their full rate is $175/hr for the gym) and we come for their family/summer programming and do a demo/class for an hour. Lex is planning to go July 1 at 1pm. I'm not sure if I can make it sense I have to work, but Lex would love a co-teacher. Also if anyone wants to do this again for them some Wednesday in July, that would be awesome. They also want to have a walk thru meeting with us in a month or so. I will schedule it but need to know who's available when. I took some notes and have some things I need to send them like a *flyer or program* from a previous year. Does anyone have that? They also want me to write up a* 1-2 pager about our org/event. * *So who all should be at our first Fluggleburgh planning meeting this year and when is everyone available?* Lex and I will be out of town the next 2 Sundays, but could maybe do a Zoom call this Sunday.
