I hope this is not considered a spam to the list, but in light
of the recent downturn and the conversations I have had with
some members I have been led to believe some folks might be willing
to relocate to get a good Java position. Headhunters periodically
contact me (even in these times), but since I work for Sun they
often seem to assume I am in the Bay Area (despite the 919 area code!).
Anyway, below is a recent sample. Feel free to followup with the
HH directly (I do not give them JUG contact info). Based on my
brief conversation with him it appears to be an interesting opportunity.

I don't plan to do this again, so let me know if you would like
to receive further notices of this kind.

Best regards,

Chuck

Chuck,

Great to speak with you. I am glad to hear that everything is going
well. Don't hesitate to call if you ever need my help.

Java Architect role

I am currently searching for a Java architect. The company that I am
working with is targeting the pharmaceutical industry and they are
creating a decision process management solution. This company received
funding in their first 90 days, which totaled 6 million with 3i as their
lead investor. They are closing another round as we speak. Their
technology is j2EE based and essentially this solution will help
companies run compounds more efficiently, and offer them a return on
investment of 50 million dollars, and consequently this savings would be
passed along to the consumer. They have customers such as Pfizer and
Merck on board and are doing very well.

Best Regards,

Clark Shafer
