Is this question directed at me? Assuming so:

Yes, it's intended as a companion to Martin Fowler's Patterns of Enterprise
Application Architecture. That book talks about how to develop individual
apps, this book discusses how to make the apps work together. Our book will
be in Martin's signature series.
