I think the web site is confusing; I've exchanged a couple of emails
with the site program contact and that page wasn't intended as a "voting"
or "registration" or "be counted" page.

The SQL/form errors that were floating around were query results
as opposed to errors from filling out a registration form. Thus,
I believe that one of the errors was a specific search for locating *existing*
bulletin board listings through the information provided by the listing
owners. (ie: search for a city to see who's listed in that locale, search
for a state *plus* a technology to see what state groups are interested
in that particular facet of Java technology).

I don't have any definitive information about the top 25 and the person
in charge of the program is apparantly on vacation this week so I couldn't
confirm. However, given that the TriJUG was highlighted in a feature story
specifically on JUGs and the rollout of the top 25 program:
http://java.sun.com/features/2003/04/jugs_03.html
I would be *very* surprised if the TriJUG wasn't in the top 25 and
espeically given the consistency, quality and momentum that the JUG has
maintained over the years.

So, for now, you don't need to vote/register in terms of trying to do
the "american idol" for the TriJUG. If I find out otherwise, I'll
let everyone know with the exact URL and click stream. I think that
the demonstrated enthusiasm has certainly re-affirmed my efforts in
trying to internally evangelize the TriJUG as one of the top 3-4-5 JUGs
in the US (fwiw).

Again, apologies for the website confusion...
