And I plan to be down on the Friday to teach whatever it is Stu says, which will likely be an intro to Lucene and an Advanced Struts presentation, and even some XDoclet stuff if time/interest allows.

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that I will be teaching a Java track at TechEngage. Details at [1].

People liked the track at the first event, but some folks wanted more advanced content than an intro class. So here goes: I'll be talking about open source development in Java, including Ant, JUnit, HTTPUnit, Tomcat, Axis, Struts, and more. I'll also be introducing a new style of automated testing called Exploration Testing.

And, for those who haven't heard of TechEngage: TechEngage is a not-for-profit organization which provides training for out of work IT professionals. I am a professional developer and teacher and am donating a week of my time to teach this class.

My good friends Ted Neward and Justin Gehtland are also teaching, on J2EE and .NET respectively.

Please spread the word,
Stu
