Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is more JUG Board positions available
then was have candidates for. We need your help. If you are interested in being a
board member for the next year, just reply to this email or send a message to me
directly.

Below are some questions that may help you decide if you should throw your hat in the
ring.

QUICK FAQ:
Q: What are the requirements to be a board member?
A: The only requirements for a board member is a desire to promote Java in the
triangle, try their best to be at every group meeting (one per month), perform their
role as a board member between meetings ( a few hours, at the most, per month) and be
an active TriJUG member.

Q: I'm unemployeed and believe that having "TriJUG Board Member" on my resume will
help me get a new job. Is this true?
A: It might. Being a board member tells others that your are an active member of the
Java community. But if the jobs comes down to two candidates having simular skill
sets, being a Board Member may shift the decision in your favor.

Q: Do I get anything for being a Board Member?
A: - You get a free year of memberships dues paid ($40.00 value)
   - A free dinner with the other board members ($$$)
   - Leadership skills from your experience as a board member (priceless)

Q: Will I have to run against Gary Coleman?
A: Mr. Coleman is currently working on other campaign interests in California and will
not be a candidate for TriJUG Board Member.
