Abstract: This session will cover how IBM battled and won against Microsoft and BEA for eBay's business, from a technical perspective. It will also discuss technical implementation details to give a
view into how this site has been rearchitected onto WebSphere. Issues surrounding high-volume websites and performance and availability concerns will be highlighted.

Take the Cornwallis Road Exit. At the end of the exit ramp, bear right - cross back over the Freeway. MCNC is located approximately 3/4 mile on the right.
