Abstract:

Web Services is a major push for J2EE 1.4. SOAP/WSDL web services give
you a standards compliant way to make your applications interoperable
with other applications over the Internet. After introducing web
services and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), this talk covers the
following standards:
- JAX-RPC
- SAAJ
- JAXP
Apache Axis, an open source implementation of JAX-RPC, is also discussed.

Join us for a discussion entitled, "Web Services & J2EE 1.4"
