You didn't mention Wiki. Specifically, some problems/workflows lend themselves to an intranet-oriented Wiki (such as TWiki) with recommended practices for organizing the pages. I know that's not spot on with what you're looking at right now, but I do know of automation groups that have found a team wiki to be very valuable.
