Hello Conrad,
Could you make sure that I am on the mailing list for the RTP Rational
Users Group?
Thanks,
Sal

Mitch,
No we have not reached that point in the planning yet. I was hoping not
to limit the scope and would work with the steering committee to make
the decisions on topics.

based on the member requests/needs and the availability of resources
to address the needs.
The RUGs liaison in Rational will be instrumental in helping us line
up resources to satisfy the needs.
I hope I am not being evasive but don't want it to appear that I will
be the only one making the decisions.
Of course as always member participation in the steering committee/board will
be key to making the group work.

Conrad,
Are there particular parts of the suite on which you will focus? I'm guessing that ClearCase, Rose are core. As you envision it, will DDTS, ClearQuest, and/or RUP be regular topics of discussion, or model-driven development? Just wondering.

Dear JUG Member:
Over the past couple years a bunch of us have been trying to start a
group that would help focus our skills and talents in the areas
of Rational products and services. We finally have critical mass
and have gotten the Research Triangle Park Rational Users Group
activated and registered on the Rational UG web site.
Our goal is to create a forum for exchanging ideas in the area of
analysis, design, architecture, patterns in general and the Rational
suite in particular.
Please register yourself on the web site if you are interested.

The left navigation bar on the home page has a link that will bring up
the complete list. Our group id in the web site is 46 but you can
choose the name of the group from the pull down menu.
If you have any problems registering, please send me an email message to
this account.
Please feel free to forward to this message to anyone else you may know
who is interested in being part of the RTP-RUG.
Thank you.
