Depends on what you're trying to figure out.  Are you looking for how to 
connect to Oracle using JDBC?  Are you looking to use EJB or other 
persistence framework?  Are you looking for simple quick and dirty code 
to make SQL calls from your JSPs?  Obviously since it's for a class we 
can't write it for you, but I'm sure folks will be willing to help with 
more information.
