Triangle Java Users Group Presents:

Running a Pragmatic Project

presented by Andy Hunt

*Monday, September 20, 2004 *
*6:30 PM - 9:00 PM*
*Nortel Networks*
4001 E. Chapel Hill-Nelson Highway
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina

Abstract:
Bad software and inappropriate development practices burn up time, money, customers, and careers -- about $60 billion a year worth in the U.S. alone. It's time we get some of that money back! This presentation explains how to establish a firm foundation for software development based on The Pragmatic Starter Kit series of books. It offers basic, common-sense practices applicable in all software development environments. We'll then discuss selected real-world, pragmatic practices needed for modern software development that help you get your project out the door faster and easier.
