Hello,
My partner and I have been developing in Java for years. Recently, we have formed a national study group, the Java Information Group.
It is a free group. We are not selling or promoting anything; we are simply collecting the opinions from Java developers all over the country. After facing many challenges in our professional Java development, we decided to find out what other developers are facing in a difficult time. Jobs are going overseas, development budgets have been slashed, many projects are failing, and yet the development world acts pretty much the same as it did in the 90s during the bubble.
Whether you are employed by a small or large company, own your own consulting company or manage projects, we need your input. We want to hear your concerns and understand what your needs are as a developer, an architect or a manager.
We also would like to support JUGs all over the country. We are posting links to JUGs whose members are joining us in this effort.
Click on or go to the link below to learn more. This is an opt-in group only. We are not sending out mass mailings. We absolutely hate SPAM.

Feel free to send this email to your co-workers and friends who develop in Java as well.
The most recent JUGs to have members join the group since December 18 are:
LAJUG (Los Angeles)
NEJUG (New England Users Group)
Chicago-Java
SVJug (Silicon Valley)
AustinJug
Have a Merry Christmas,
Eric
