The next meeting of the Charlotte Java User's Group will take place on February 17th (Thursday) at 6:30 pm. We will have a presentation on using J2ME to leverage low cost devices as a mobile desktop replacement by Chris Clark.
Chris is the Vice President of Development at MobileHWY, LLC. With over 14 years experience in software development, he has a breadth of technical knowledge using client/server and web based technologies. Come join us in exploring how to use J2ME to take advantage of technologies like HTTP, GPS, Location based services and Serial printing.

Directions: The offices are at the corner of Billy Graham and S. Tryon.
From the North, take 77 and exit at 6A. Merge onto S. Tryon, then make a quick right onto Billy Graham. The park entrance will be on your right as soon as you turn onto Billy Graham.
From the South, take 77 and exit 6B. Go through the light at S. Tryon (stopping if it's red!) and the park entrance will be on your right as soon as you cross over Tryon.
Once in the park take your first right in front of our building and enter through the doors.
