Meeting: 23 MAR 2005
Title: Loop-the-Loop: Feedback, Communication and Risk in an Iterative Environment
by Andrew Midkiff (BCBSNC)
Abstract:
One of the Core Values of the RUP, as well as a Best Practice, is to develop software iteratively and incrementally. Iterative development is one of the most mis-understood and mis-used of the practices in RUP. This talk will give a conceptual introduction to iterations: what they are, and why we use them, what value they bring. Specifically, we'll talk about the power of iterations for project planning, project steering and risk management.
